New study forecasts increasing revenue squeeze for Australian telco industry
Market Clarity's Australian Fixed Voice Services Market report is a 140-page demographic and competitive analysis based on the study of dozens of services provided by eight carriers, which together represent more than 90% of the telecommunications fixed voice service revenues in Australia. The report offers historical analysis from 2000-2005 and forecasts through to 2010. A key finding was that fixed-to-mobile calls, one of the most expensive call categories in the telecommunications market, are skyrocketing while local call volumes and revenues are in decline.
